Border Czar DESTROYS Democrat’s Shocking Attack on ICE Agents

- Border czar sets record straight on ICE’s professional, lawful operations protecting American communities
White House border czar Tom Homan delivered a powerful rebuke to a Democratic senator’s inflammatory rhetoric about Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations. The exchange highlighted the deep divide between those committed to enforcing immigration law and those who would rather demonize the brave men and women protecting our borders.
During a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Homan confronted host Dana Bash about false accusations leveled by Democratic Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy. The senator had claimed ICE agents engage in tactics designed to “terrorize” children — a charge Homan flatly rejected.
“ICE is not in the business of terrorizing children,” Homan stated firmly.
The border czar’s response came as Democrats continue their pattern of attacking immigration enforcement rather than addressing the security crisis at America’s southern border. Murphy’s inflammatory language represents yet another attempt by the left to paint lawful enforcement as cruel and inhumane.
ICE agents perform dangerous, often thankless work removing criminal aliens and individuals who have violated our immigration laws. These professionals operate under strict legal guidelines and protocols designed to protect both officers and those in their custody — including children.
The Democrat narrative conveniently ignores the real victims of open-border policies: American families who have lost loved ones to preventable crimes, communities ravaged by drugs and human trafficking, and legal immigrants who followed the rules only to watch others cut in line. By smearing ICE agents as child abusers, Murphy and his allies undermine public confidence in law enforcement while providing cover for those who exploit vulnerable migrants.
Homan has become a leading voice for border security and immigration enforcement in the current administration. His willingness to directly confront false narratives stands in stark contrast to years of politicians who cowered before activist pressure groups and complicit media outlets.
The timing of Murphy’s attack is particularly cynical given ongoing border challenges that require serious policy solutions rather than partisan grandstanding. Instead of working toward enforcement mechanisms that protect both American citizens and legitimate asylum seekers, Democrats continue weaponizing children as political props.
ICE operations follow established procedures that prioritize safety while executing lawful removal orders. Officers receive extensive training on proper treatment of minors and families. The suggestion that these professionals deliberately seek to traumatize children is not only false but deeply offensive to those who risk their lives in service to this nation.
Americans deserve better than politicians who demonize law enforcement for political gain.
