EXPOSED: Radical Attorney General’s Power Grab Against Federal Immigration Facility

Liberty Check

  • Blue state official attacks federally-controlled detention facility in transparent attempt to undermine ICE operations
  • Democrat attorney general weaponizes health inspections to interfere with constitutional immigration enforcement
  • Left’s coordinated assault on border security continues as state actors defy federal authority

A radical New Jersey Attorney General has launched yet another attack on federal immigration enforcement, filing a politically motivated lawsuit against the operator of Delaney Hall, a facility contracted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Attorney General Jennifer Davenport claims she needs access for health inspectors, but constitutional conservatives see right through this transparent power grab. This is nothing more than another attempt by a left-wing state official to interfere with federal immigration authorities doing their job.

The lawsuit targets the private operator of the ICE facility, demanding inspection access that appears designed to create obstacles for lawful detention operations. It’s the latest example of blue state officials trying to sabotage immigration enforcement from within.

While Davenport frames her lawsuit around health concerns, the timing and target reveal the true agenda. Democrats have consistently attacked ICE facilities, detention centers, and border security infrastructure — not to improve conditions, but to shut down enforcement entirely.

Federal immigration enforcement falls squarely under constitutional authority granted to the national government, not individual states. Yet progressive attorneys general continue pushing jurisdictional boundaries, using state regulatory power as a weapon against policies they oppose.

This frivolous lawsuit represents a dangerous precedent. If state officials can weaponize health codes and inspection requirements against federal facilities, what stops them from undermining other constitutional functions they disagree with?

ICE facilities operate under federal oversight and standards. The facility in question houses individuals who violated our immigration laws and are awaiting processing or deportation. These aren’t innocent victims — they’re lawbreakers being held in accordance with established legal procedures.

The left’s campaign against immigration detention continues despite overwhelming public support for secure borders and enforcement of existing laws. Americans consistently vote for politicians who promise to crack down on illegal immigration, yet unelected bureaucrats and activist attorneys general work tirelessly to obstruct those democratic mandates.

New Jersey taxpayers should question why their attorney general is spending state resources on federal immigration battles instead of focusing on actual state-level crime, corruption, and constitutional violations happening in their own backyard.

Americans deserve better than politically motivated lawsuits designed to undermine border security and federal authority.
