CNN Anchor Forced to Admit Democrats Were WRONG About Illegal Voting — After Massive New Jersey Scandal Explodes

  • CNN’s Jake Tapper admits New Jersey scandal undermines Democrat denials of illegal voting concerns
  • Over 6,600 non-citizens illegally added to voter rolls, nearly 400 cast ballots in elections
  • Trump administration pushing SAVE America Act as vindication of election security warnings

Even CNN can’t ignore this one. Anchor Jake Tapper was forced to admit on air that Democrats have been flat-out wrong about illegal immigrant voting — and the evidence just came crashing down from an unlikely place: deep-blue New Jersey.

Democratic Governor Mikie Sherrill dropped a bombshell Tuesday, revealing that thousands of non-citizens were mistakenly registered to vote. The damage? Roughly 6,600 ineligible people added to the rolls, with nearly 400 actually casting ballots in elections.

Sherrill blamed a “serious software error” at the state’s DMV that occurred between June 2023 and June 2024 under the previous administration. But conservatives aren’t buying the “mistake” narrative — this is exactly what they’ve been warning about for years.

While covering the breaking scandal, Tapper couldn’t spin his way out of the obvious.

“This is not good for Democrats’ argument that there’s no such thing as undocumented immigrants voting,” Tapper said during a panel discussion.

No kidding. For years, Democrats and their media allies have dismissed election integrity concerns as conspiracy theories and voter suppression tactics. They’ve fought tooth and nail against common-sense measures like voter ID laws and citizenship verification.

Now the facts are undeniable. Non-citizens were on the rolls. Non-citizens voted. And who knows how many other states have similar “errors” they haven’t discovered yet — or won’t admit to.

Conservative critics wasted no time pointing out the vindication. Social media erupted with reminders that Republicans have been sounding the alarm on exactly this kind of vulnerability, only to be gaslit by the left and accused of racism.

The Trump administration immediately seized on the New Jersey revelation to push the SAVE America Act, comprehensive legislation designed to shore up election security and prevent non-citizens from accessing ballots.

Just days before Sherrill’s confession, President Donald Trump delivered a primetime address from the White House calling on Congress to pass the SAVE America Act. He outlined election vulnerabilities from past cycles and warned about foreign interference, including China’s efforts to meddle in American democracy.

Trump’s warnings now look prophetic. The SAVE Act recently survived a key procedural vote in Congress, handing Republicans a major legislative victory and bypassing Democrat obstruction.

The real question now: if this can happen in New Jersey, what’s happening in California, New York, Illinois, and other sanctuary states where safeguards are even weaker? How many elections have been influenced by ineligible voters — and how long have Democrats known about it?

Americans deserve better.
