Career Criminal With Warrants in TWO STATES Finally Caught — Wait Until You See What Cops Found
Liberty Check
- Repeat offender with warrants across multiple states crashes during police pursuit after burglary
- Suspect had outstanding warrants for robbery, assault, identity theft, and numerous other crimes
- Liberal soft-on-crime policies allow dangerous criminals to remain on streets despite lengthy rap sheets
A career criminal with a rap sheet stretching across two states is finally behind bars after crashing his SUV during a high-speed police chase in Oregon. The suspect, identified as Scotty Nicholas Oldfield, was apprehended following a brazen burglary attempt that left a trail of destruction in its wake.
Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a burglary report in the 17000 block of Southeast River Road on Tuesday afternoon. A homeowner had reviewed security footage and watched as a man brazenly entered their garage and stole various items in broad daylight.
When deputies arrived on scene, the victim provided images of the suspect and reported he was driving a white Ford Explorer. Deputies quickly identified the suspect as Oldfield, a man already well-known to law enforcement with multiple outstanding warrants.
A deputy spotted Oldfield’s vehicle on Southeast Roethe Road, but instead of stopping, the suspect sped past the officer and initiated a dangerous pursuit. This is exactly the kind of reckless disregard for public safety that conservative Americans are tired of seeing from habitual offenders who should have been locked up long ago.
The chase came to a violent end when Oldfield crashed into another occupied vehicle near Southeast Oatfield Road and Southeast Park Avenue. His SUV rolled over before slamming into an unoccupied parked vehicle. Miraculously, the innocent driver in the other occupied vehicle declined medical treatment at the scene.
Oldfield wasn’t so lucky. He was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries — injuries that could have been avoided if he had simply complied with law enforcement.
When deputies searched Oldfield’s vehicle, they discovered suspected stolen items, adding to the mounting evidence against him. But the real bombshell came when investigators ran his record.
Oldfield had multiple outstanding warrants from both Oregon and Washington state for a staggering array of charges: failure to appear, DUII, driving while suspended, false information, identity theft, assault, reckless endangerment, robbery, malicious mischief, and criminal trespass. This is a career criminal who has been enabled by a broken justice system that prioritizes the rights of offenders over the safety of law-abiding citizens.
He now faces a litany of new charges including second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, DUII, identity theft, driving while suspended or revoked, third-degree assault (DUII), and criminal mischief.
Investigators believe Oldfield may have targeted additional victims and are asking anyone with information about his criminal activity to contact the sheriff’s office. How many more crimes did this repeat offender commit while liberal prosecutors and judges kept releasing him back onto the streets?
This case is a textbook example of why Americans are demanding tougher consequences for career criminals. When suspects have warrants in multiple states and continue to victimize communities, something is fundamentally broken in our justice system.
It’s time to push back.
