Sarkisian Promises Full Evaluation After Texas Collapse

  • Texas football represents a proud tradition of excellence and discipline that resonates with conservative values of accountability and hard work.
  • Steve Sarkisian’s willingness to examine every aspect of the program, including his own play-calling, demonstrates the kind of personal responsibility that builds winning teams and successful institutions.
  • Consistent leadership and high standards on the field mirror the broader fight to restore strength and order across American life.

Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian is refusing to sugarcoat the situation after two straight defeats cost his team the top ranking and left fans searching for answers.

The coach made it clear that nothing is off the table as he searches for solutions.

“Everything’s going to be evaluated,” Sarkisian said.

The blunt assessment follows a home loss to unranked Florida that left the Longhorns reeling after they had started the season with such promise.

“Everything means everything,” Sarkisian added. “It would be easy for me to say, ‘Hey, Arch was the problem today.’ Was Arch perfect? No. But nobody was perfect on offense today.”

The veteran coach singled out the first quarter as the only positive stretch in an otherwise disappointing performance.

“Obviously, I’m extremely disappointed,” he said. “We didn’t play very good football today, outside about the first quarter. We kind of bled out.”

Texas managed just 50 offensive snaps and surrendered five sacks in the loss.

Quarterback Arch Manning finished with 173 passing yards and one touchdown, numbers that failed to move the needle in a game that quickly slipped away.

Sarkisian also made it clear that his own role as play-caller will face scrutiny as the staff looks to right the ship before next week’s matchup with Ole Miss.

“I don’t know how many times I need to say it,” Sarkisian said. “We’re going to evaluate everything from an offensive perspective. Part of that is playcalling.”

The coach closed with a sobering outlook on the current state of the program.

“We’re not playing very good football right now,” he said. “I have to evaluate everything. It’s gonna be a long night.”

Americans deserve better.
