MELTDOWN: Woke Law Professor’s SHOCKING Attack on Birthright Critics Goes Viral
Liberty Check
- Liberal law professor demands academic colleagues be ‘frozen out’ for supporting constitutional interpretation on birthright citizenship
- Public meltdown exposes the intolerant left’s war on academic freedom and constitutional debate
- Conservative legal scholars under attack for defending originalist reading of 14th Amendment
A liberal law professor is facing fierce backlash after publicly calling for the professional destruction of colleagues who questioned the left’s interpretation of birthright citizenship.
The professor’s inflammatory remarks came after a legal victory for those challenging the automatic citizenship granted to children of illegal immigrants born on U.S. soil. Rather than engaging in constitutional debate, the academic resorted to demands for cancellation.

“Everyone involved in this canard should be frozen out of academic life,” the professor declared, revealing the authoritarian impulse that now defines much of liberal academia.
The meltdown exposes a deeper crisis within American universities, where leftist professors increasingly refuse to tolerate any deviation from their political orthodoxy. Constitutional scholars who dare to question progressive interpretations of the 14th Amendment now face professional exile.
The 14th Amendment’s Citizenship Clause has long been debated by legal scholars. The phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” has historically been interpreted to exclude children of foreign diplomats and invading armies. Conservative legal experts argue this same principle should apply to children of illegal immigrants who owe allegiance to foreign nations.
Yet instead of defending academic freedom and robust constitutional debate, this professor chose intimidation and threats. The call to “freeze out” colleagues represents a direct assault on the marketplace of ideas that universities are supposed to protect.
This isn’t an isolated incident. Across America’s campuses, conservative and originalist legal scholars face harassment, investigation, and professional sabotage for challenging leftist dogma. The same institutions that claim to champion diversity show zero tolerance for intellectual diversity.
The professor’s outburst also reveals the left’s panic over losing control of constitutional interpretation. With originalist judges now dominating the federal judiciary, progressives can no longer rely on activist courts to rewrite the Constitution from the bench.
Parents paying six-figure tuitions deserve to know their children are being taught by ideological enforcers rather than educators. Students deserve professors who engage ideas, not those who demand colleagues be purged for wrongthink.
The American legal tradition thrives on vigorous debate and competing interpretations. The Founding Fathers themselves engaged in passionate disagreements over constitutional meaning. But today’s academic left prefers Soviet-style uniformity to American-style freedom.
This professor’s call for professional blacklisting should alarm every American who values free thought and open inquiry. When law professors advocate destroying careers over constitutional interpretation, the rule of law itself is under threat.
The Constitution must be defended.
