WNBA Task Force Meets For Days — Still Can’t Answer One Simple Question
Liberty Check
- The Women’s National Basketball Association held emergency meetings and still cannot define what a woman is
- League attacks concerned fans as ‘bad-faith actors’ while dodging basic biology
- WNBA remains silent on player’s ‘White privilege’ comment but rushes to defend woke agenda
The WNBA has officially punted on addressing the elephant in the room. After two former NBA players declared for the draft, the league convened what it called a “task force” to tackle one fundamental question:
What is a woman?
Remarkably, after days of meetings, they still don’t have an answer. The controversy erupted when Sophie Cunningham made the common-sense observation that little girls in locker rooms deserve protection.
The league’s response? More delays, more deflection, more woke double-talk.
Let that sink in: The WOMEN’S National Basketball Association just spent several days in emergency meetings and emerged still unable to define what a WOMAN is. If this weren’t so serious, it would be laughable.
“We will continue to engage all league stakeholders in the coming weeks and months,” the league stated Wednesday night. “We will approach these important conversations thoughtfully and in alignment with the values of our league. There are no immediate eligibility matters affecting the WNBA and we strongly denounce the bad-faith efforts to use these topics to demean or marginalize others.”
Translation: We’re kicking the can down the road and attacking anyone who dares question our radical gender ideology.
The backlash was swift and merciless. Americans across the country are done with this nonsense.
Social media erupted with frustration and disbelief. Conservative voices pointed out the absurdity of a women’s sports league that can’t define “woman.”
This circus has been going on for a full month now. Sophie Cunningham triggered the woke mob by stating the obvious — men don’t belong in women’s sports or little girls’ locker rooms — and the league is still tap-dancing around basic biology.
The WNBA has gone so far down the woke rabbit hole that there’s no turning back. Instead of simply clarifying draft eligibility rules based on biological sex, the league chose to craft a lengthy statement attacking fans and media who dare to defend women’s sports.
“We strongly denounce the bad-faith efforts to use these topics to demean or marginalize others.”
Stunning. This is the same league that has remained completely silent about DiJonai Carrington’s dangerous clothesline foul on Sophie Cunningham and her subsequent social media post calling the ejection “White privilege.”
Five days later, still not a word from the league office about that racially charged comment. But imagine if the situation were reversed — if Sophie had posted “Black privilege” after being ejected for a similar foul.
The double standard is glaring and shameful.
This is the organization we’re dealing with. A WOMEN’S basketball league so captured by progressive ideology that its task force can’t answer the most basic question about its own identity after days of deliberation.
The American people see through this charade. They understand that biological reality isn’t “bad faith” — it’s common sense.
Women’s sports were created to provide fair competition for female athletes. That fundamental truth shouldn’t require a task force or months of discussion.
The Constitution must be defended.
