Do You Believe Zohran Mamdani as Mayor Would Be a Catastrophe for NYC’s Jewish Community?
Here’s The Scoop
In a city as diverse and vibrant as New York, the prospect of electing Zohran Mamdani as mayor is raising serious concerns, particularly among Jewish residents. Liora Rez, founder of StopAntisemitism, has sounded the alarm, warning that Mamdani’s leadership could spell disaster not just for Jewish New Yorkers, but for all city residents.
Rez’s apprehension stems from Mamdani’s troubling socialist views and his controversial stance on Israel. His refusal to denounce the inflammatory slogan “globalize the intifada” has sparked outrage, as many see it as a direct threat to Jewish safety and a call for violence.
Mamdani’s track record is worrying. He’s been linked to protests against Israel and has shown a disturbing friendliness with radical antisemites. Rez insists that concerns about his antisemitism are well-founded, citing numerous instances of his past behavior that align with such sentiments.
Prominent voices like Dave Rubin have gone as far as to urge Jewish residents to consider leaving New York City if Mamdani ascends to the mayoralty. His radical views are seen as an existential threat to Jewish New Yorkers.
Mamdani, a 33-year-old New York state assembly member, hasn’t shied away from controversy. He’s openly criticized Israel and even suggested arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he set foot in the city. His comments on phrases like “from the river to the sea” and “globalize the intifada” reveal a concerning perspective, framing them as calls for equality rather than recognizing their violent implications.
Even President Donald Trump has weighed in, expressing his readiness to take action against Mamdani if necessary. “We don’t need a communist in this country,” Trump declared, emphasizing his commitment to monitoring Mamdani closely.
As New Yorkers consider their future leadership, the potential consequences of electing someone with Mamdani’s views cannot be ignored. His silence in response to these concerns only adds to the unease among those who value safety and stability in America’s largest city.

Zohran is a huge threat to everyone. By exposing his threat about the Jews shows that no one is immune from his rhetoric

You would think, that NY’ers only need look around them and see if their elected leaders have done to keep them safe, secure….
Outside looking in, it sure looks like democrats have screwed that city and citizens… but hey, THEIR CHOICE.
As the saying goes, ‘careful what you wish for, you may get it…’
