The Biden administration is facing increased pressure to give monetary reparations to black Americans.
Reparations expert Dreisen Heath told Fox News Digital: “Activists have been pressing the Biden administration to use his executive authority to immediately establish a federal reparations commission given the deliberate stalling at the congressional level.”
President Joe Biden is also facing pressure from lawmakers to issue an executive order.
In December, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) asked “with no apologies for an executive order to be in place.”
“I want for once an acceptance of the history, of the journey that African Americans have taken, to be an accepted reality in America.”

There’s no Pride in their Country or the men and women (not non-persons) who died for them just so they can say they’re part of the mixed-up alphabet soup. But this soup mess is STUPID.

NONE of my ancestors were slave owners, I was born ninety years ago – never owned slaves, and never met anyone or knew of anyone that owned slaves. African Americans today are no more entitled to reparations than I am a Caucasian American!

There is no one alive today that owned slaves and there is no one alive today that was a slave. If Lincoln had his way all blacks would have been sent back to Africa, so the Black Americans of today would be living in mud huts over in Africa, not cruising the hood in a fancy car. I have had many friends who were Black Americans over the years, and I admire a lot of the famous Black Americans like Thomas Sowell, Morgan Freeman,& James Earl Jones! In this country if you work hard and put your mind to it you can find a way to succeed and find your way in this world. No one handed me anything and many times I despaired of ever making anything of my self or becoming a worth while member of society but I finally got my head out of my ass and worked at getting somewhere with my life, I never became rich but I am not a burden to society or living in prison either and I guess that I did fairly well!

NO reparations unless they get it only from the democrats. Only living Pres. that did NOT have slavery in their background is Trump. Even Harris- Her father still lives on the plantation in Jamaca that her family had slaves on. Democrats were formed by KKK. Reparations- go back to Africa and get it from the Africans who sold their people to begin with! BTW there STILL is slavery! Women being sold, children etc! Many slaves back then- also fought for their freedom. After the Civil war, many received land and a mule as reparations then. Also reparations were paid- IN LIVES! Maybe the Xidens since they recvd $17M- and since they care sooooo much- could donate their ill gotten gains. Pelosi is worth $127M+, Schiff $3M and the rest of them and their $Mllions (on a salaried 100-127,000+yrly. They can afford to gve up one of their mansions.

Agree! There is probably NO nation, that has not had/been in slavery, to another. The Hebrews/Jews (who are in my Ancestry) were “God’s OWN Children”,& were in slavery MANY times. There are many tribes today, who are in slavery, in the same areas the ones in our country, were sold by to slave traders. IF they had NOT been sold, they would STILL be in slavery in their home countries! A black female atty from the US, went back to “see her roots. She stayed w/a black atty in that country, who SHOWED her “her roots” & told her she should be THANKFUL, she her ancestors WERE sold & brought to America, or SHE(American) would be having to live the same way she (African) was. The Irish were treated just as bad in the US. ALSO, MY ancestors (Jewish) were sold here as “indentured servants for 7 year. WHERE are MY reparations? The same place everyone elses is. DEAD AND GONE. Up to US to work and achieve, as MANY of every race and creed have done! The 2nd pres.of “America” was a black man and paid for the boots and guns of Washington’s army. His pic is included on the back of the $2 bill.

I disagree with the BLACKS getting money they do not deserve. I am white and not RACIST. GOD created ALL MEN AND WOMEN EQUAL. I don`t know who started this RACIST BUSINESS, but it is BS! There should absolutely not be any reparations paid to Blacks. Whoever pushes this money-grab needs to realize that not only Blacks were enslaved. The Irish were enslaved by the English and other nations. Jews have been slaves to many. No reparations need be paid.

If anyone in America deserves reparations, it is the AMERICAN INDIANS who are living in squallers, today, on remote reservations all over the country that our government stole from them. They deserve better than what they have and how our government has treated them. It’s absolutely shameful. I think all slaves, I mean all those that were enslaved in the time of the civil war and before, surely ought to get reparation! How many would that be? OH, wait a minute, NONE! This is ONLY a love of money thing! Besides there have been reparations for many years. I mean food stamps, and the NAACP, and welfare and the many other systems used to give blacks a leg up! THIS IS NOT about what may have been wrong, because no black man or woman today knows anything about Slavery! That ended in 1864. That’s about 160 years ago!

Blacks have benefited in our country. They have also caused immense damage. Perhaps Blacks should pay for the damage done to the country which they seem to ignore. The welfare state for citizens has to end at sometime. No American citizen owes Blacks anything though they think so. They need to go after the deep pockets of Black kin who sold them. George Soros paid them reparations to burn down demonrat city blocks and Kumswala harris raised money for their bail if they were arrested so they would be released and continue their burn, loot, murderous normal behavior. Members of my family served and fought in the 25th Michigan Regiment during the War Between The States (Civil War). And, some of them died to keep the Union together and to end Slavery. I don’t figure I owe anyone reparations, just as no one owes me anything, either. I wasn’t in that war, and today’s “African Americans”, to use the “Politically Correct” reference, were not Slaves.

Any reparations paid must come from the descendants of actual slave owners. My ancestors did not own slaves so why should my tax dollars be used to give reparations to people who have never been enslaved?

In his 2002 book Uncivil Wars: The Controversy over Reparations for Slavery, David Horowitz recounts an ad he produced that listed ten reasons why reparations for slavery are not only a bad idea but a racist one, too. Twenty years later, his list still holds up. Among its points:
• There’s no distinct group that was responsible for slavery.
• There’s no distinct group that benefited from it exclusively.
• Only a small minority of White Americans owned slaves, while hundreds of thousands of Whites gave their lives to the cause of abolishing slavery.
• Most living Americans have no connection to slavery, direct or indirect.
• The reparations claim is based on race, not injury.
• The claim is one more attempt to divide the races and turn Blacks into “victims”.
• Trillions in reparations have already been paid to Blacks via “Great Society” giveaways and other social programs.
The Leftist’s Objective: Historical Revisionism
By banning all things Confederate, they are denying the history of the War Between the States, the war that freed the slaves.
The next generation will never learn that 620,000 White People died to free Black Slaves, thus furthering the lies of so-called “White Privilege” and that “All Whites are Racist”. If that was true, then it is difficult to explain the fact that White People voluntarily went to war and died to bring about the end of Slavery.
As the final verse of the “The Battle Hymn Of The Republic” says:

The Yankee Soldiers would have never made that song so popular among the troops, had the wording of that final verse been nothing but a lie!

The Democratic Party of today argues that all African Americans, (only SOME of whom are descended from slaves) deserve reparations. (Their ancestors being slaves is something we cannot whitewash or forget).
However, this “Reparations” idea has obvious problems, with some of the most salient, being that:
1. In the entire history of the world, there is practically no country, no race, or no peoples who have not either been slaves at one time, or slaveholders during another time, or both.
2. No one alive today in this country has ever been a slave and no one alive in this country has ever owned slaves. (Unless they are Muslims or Chinese, who are still holding slaves in the Middle East and Mainland China, even today, but you will never hear that from any Leftist sources.)
3. This whole proposition is immoral for many reasons. But in calculating anything like a claim for recompense there should be some form of calculation of the damages and harm done by the “guilty” parties, yet not to harm those whose ancestors were innocent.
4. Slavery has existed in every civilization throughout history. The only question, therefore, isn’t who had slavery, but who was willing to fight and die to abolish it? ANSWER: White Americans!
5. The Democrat’s ‘Jim Crow Laws’ STILL Exist When it Comes to Blacks Owning Guns in Some States!
6. Democrats want to steal money from people whose own ancestors fought, bled, suffered, and died to end slavery! 360,000 Union Soldiers, mainly White men suffered and died and paid “reparations” with their blood to free four million slaves.
7. Many Civil War Veterans were maimed for life, by the loss of arms, legs, vision, or suffered war related illnesses.
8. Many Blacks fought for either the North or the South during the Civil War.
9. The progeny of the White Conductors on the Underground Railroad who risked their lives if they were caught, should not be held responsible for Reparations.
10. White People in the 1960s died to give Blacks their Civil Rights! Search term: “The Onion Field”
11. Over one thousand Free-Blacks in the South OWNED Slaves too, so how is it that their progeny deserves any reparations?
12. Many Chinese who came here to work the gold fields and railroads and were treated almost as slaves, and they produced millions of children. How are they to be held responsible?
13. Many Whites and people of other races were immigrants who came to the USA, AFTER the Civil War and they produced millions of children! How are they to be held responsible?
14. There are many millions of African Blacks who got off the boat, AFTER the Civil War until today, and they produced many millions of children!
15. “By the 1980s more Black Africans had come to America voluntarily as immigrants seeking Freedom and Opportunity than ever came as slaves.” —Dennis Prager
How are any of them owed Slavery reparations?
16. “If America is systemically racist against Black people, if every White American is a racist, why have more than four million Black people emigrated from Africa and the Caribbean to the United States since the 1960s? Tens of millions more would if they could. Are they all fools? Is there any other example of a vast number of people immigrating to a country that hates them? Why would anyone move to a country that is systemically bigoted against them? Did any Jews immigrate to Germany after the Nazis came to power in 1933?” —Dennis Prager
17. Yet, Southern Democrats whose own ancestors OWNED the slaves would pay an equal “share”!
18. Many Blacks are Mixed Race, some going back generations, what kind of financial gymnastics is that called for? There would need to be Nazi-like ‘inquiries’ into the claimant’s racial background, to determine their share. Or would fake “Blacks” like Rachel Dolezal collect?
19. Many people, both Whites and Blacks, are of mixed ancestry with all the races and nations on the earth.
20. A Black man named Anthony Johnson was the very FIRST owner of Black slaves, in the USA, he came here to make more money raising tobacco by the use of slavery, because slavery was the most lucrative business (and it still is in Africa and the Middle East, they are STILL selling their people into slavery.) He had four White and one Black indentured servant. The Black indentured servant, John Casor demanded that Johnson release him after his allotted seven years of indenture. The court ruled in Johnson’s favor and made Casor a slave for LIFE. (It’s not clear if Anthony Johnson also kept his White indentured servants as slaves for Life)
21. (The very first slaves in the US were Irish children, shipped here by the British, arrived four months before the first Black slaves arrived… Irish adults came later… most of them died before they made much of an impact on US history and are mainly forgotten. Most were FORCEFULLY DEPORTED FROM IRELAND AND SOLD INTO INDENTURED SERVITUDE. Whereas the normal indenture is a voluntary contract for a certain number of years to work without compensation and to pay off an earlier debt.

22. Muslim slave traders from Africa and Arabia sold MORE Whites into slavery by raiding Europe than they did from raiding the Black African people.
23. Black African Tribes such as the Ashanti captured and sold other Blacks to both Muslim and White Slavers. However, sometimes the Slave Trading Tribes later became the hunted. It was the Ashanti’s own Kente Cloth that the Democrats wore in the halls of Congress when they ‘took a knee’ for the career criminal George Floyd.

24. Democrats claim that “DACA” kids should not have to pay for their own parents’ crimes. However, those very same Dems believe that ALL White people are still responsible for the actions of pre-Mid-19th Century Democrat Slave Owners!
25. Vice President Kamala Harris, when asked about her family’s history of owning slaves, says “That was in the past and has nothing to do with me”. This throws ice water on the whole “Reparations” argument!

WHO SHOULD PAY THEN?
Southern Democrats primarily, then all other Democrats because they are the ones who owned the Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crowe Laws, Racial Segregation, and Black Voter Suppression… We must INCLUDE BLACK Democrats too, because many Free-Blacks in the South OWNED Slaves too!
So, the Black Dems get to “Pay” themselves… after the usual obligatory Governmental “Slight Charge for Shipping and Handling”!
Bottom line: don’t let the Democrats change America for the worse. Remember November!

No. The world ran on slavery and included all races. Blacks were not the only victims of slavery. In fact the first person to own a slave in the US was a black man by the name of Anthony Johnson and he went to court to keep his slave. The Irish were also sold into slavery. The word Slave comes from the word Slav (Eastern European ancestry). Islam condones slavery to this day and in Mauritania you can still will your slaves to your children (even though it was supposedly ended in 1981). If we want to do something about slavery in the US we need to close our borders. Women and children are trafficked into sexual slavery every single day. One more thing – more people died in the Civil War than all of our other wars combined. The Reparations debt has been paid in blood.

Slaves came from AFRICA where they were SOLD into SLAVERY by their waring, neighboring TRIBESMEN. The Eastern European Peoples in turn SOLD them again and again finally selling them to the EARLY AMERICAN SETTLERS. You and I are NOT responsible for what happened to your ANCESTORS or by WHOM. That is why the Civil War (which you all are trying to cancel) was FOUGHT, to FREE Your ANCESTORS. Thank GOD they were freed by WHITE MEN and Black who thought by GOD that owning human beings was wrong. It was good GOD Fearing Men and Women who worked at great risk to themselves to FREE and PROTECT your ANCESTORS. Anyone who thinks we owe you for what your ancestors went through and not what our ancestors went through to free them is lower than the slime I walk through on the farm. I say Take your Reparations and stick them where the sun doesn’t shine as that’s where they belong. I will say I WOULD agree IF this had happened within the last 50 years BUT IT DIDN’T! Where will it stop? If given reparations, in 10 yrs. more will be demanded. 40 acres and a mule was a pretty good deal at the time. As a country we have given billions to the black race thru welfare, housing, school enhancements and many other entitlements that no other race was ever given Evan though every race on earth has had ancestors that were slaves to others. Black Americans have created many of the problems they face while at the same time many have been quite successful. It’s way past time to quit crying about victimization and take advantage of the freedoms and liberty’s this great country offers
